The Institute examines the human world at the scale at which it can be directly perceived, understood, and stewarded.
Purpose
The TinyWorld Institute is the umbrella body for a developing field of study concerned with the human avatar, attention, biological signalling, male and female design, lived perception, stewardship, and physical matter reality.
Its work takes the form of essays, classes, workshops, illustrations, conceptual models, and case studies. Each form serves the same purpose: to help a person perceive the structure of direct experience and restore a more precise relationship with what is present.
Coherence arises when each element occupies its proper role, scale, responsibility, and relationship to the whole.
Public Charter
What governs the work
The public charter condenses the Institute’s founding commitments into principles that can be observed in every teaching.
Direct experience comes first
The Institute begins with the question, “What am I looking at?” before moving to explanation, judgment, blame, identity, or prescription.
Distinctions matter
Consciousness and avatar, signal and interpretation, perception and morality, sovereignty and control, stewardship and management are not interchangeable.
Biological information deserves literacy
The avatar is approached as an organized living system whose signals, rhythms, limits, phases, and adaptive responses can be studied.
Attention belongs to the person
Attention is finite, biologically costly, and sovereign. It is not automatically owed, claimable, extractable, or permanently available to others.
Responsibility must remain properly scaled
The Institute does not confuse stewardship with rescue, control, exaggerated obligation, or the performance of an idealized role.
Teaching serves perception
The purpose of teaching is not to install authority over another person’s experience. It is to make structures visible enough that direct observation can resume.
A developing synthesis
The Institute brings several bodies of knowledge into relationship without erasing their origins.
